Wright State beats Loyola 68-47

DAYTON, Ohio -- Troy Tabler scored 16 points on Thursday night, and Wright State's defense dominated in the second half, setting up a 68-47 victory over Loyola of Chicago.

Wright State (11-8, 5-3) has won 11 of its last 13 games overall and its last five against Loyola (11-9, 3-5).

Loyola managed only four field goals in the second half, when it shot 15 percent (4-of-26) and scored 17 points. The 47 points overall were a season low.

J.R. Blount led Loyola with 10. Senior guard Justin Cerasoli, who was coming off a career-best 28-point performance in a win over Valparaiso, scored only six points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Todd Brown added 13 points for Wright State.
