Maybe Janet Reno could oust fugitive

Where's Janet Reno when you need her? Here we've got an illegal alien, Elvira Arellan, holed up in a church in Chicago, and no one seems to know how to extract her and deport her back to her native Mexico.

Reno, under the authority of her boss, Bill Clinton, showed the world just how determined the United States can be in enforcing our immigration laws.

When 6-year-old Elian Gonzalez arrived here illegally from Cuba, Reno sent in federal agents with machine guns and extracted the boy from the private home of his relatives, who are legal citizens of the United States. Surely Bush could have his attorney general, Alberto Gonzales (no relation) assemble the troops to grab Arellan and escort her from the country.

I wonder how that would be perceived by the left wingers who claim to be so concerned about human rights?
