Rolling Meadows group holding 31st craft boutique
The Rolling Meadows High School Athletic Boosters are holding their 31st Annual Holiday Craft Boutique at Rolling Meadows High School, 2901 Central Road, Rolling Meadows, on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The boutique is one of the biggest in the area, featuring 150 indoor booths. All items will be the personal work of the artists selling at the show. Both local and out-of-state crafters will be on hand.
Items on display will include: handblown glass necklace pendants, recycled bottle cap & resin necklaces, denim purses, teacher-oriented gifts, natural soaps and herbal products, crystal potpourri, bowls made from old record albums, scented fabric trivets, tye-dye clothing, handmade candles and tarts, stoneware ornaments, hand painted stationery and glassware, handcrafted enamel and cloisonné jewelry, holiday door and wall hangings, hand painted furniture, American girl doll outfits, embroidered baby blankets, quality wool felt ornaments, hand-sewn overnight bags, pet accessories for dogs & cats, wooden boxes, and fine turned hardwood pens.
Chippy's Kettle Korn will return for a third consecutive year, preparing fresh kettle corn in assorted flavors just outside the school's main entrance.
