The Chamberlain Group acquires IEI

ELMHURST -- The Chamberlain Group Inc. said Tuesday it has bought International Electronics Inc. of Vancouver, Wash., a manufacturer of a diversified line of consumer and professional electronic products, including wireless technologies for security and access control, wireless headsets and intercoms, as well as electronics for Internet and automotive applications. The Chamberlain Group manufactures and markets access control products.

AAA launches new 'green' initiative
