Batavia

• Graffiti was discovered Wednesday on a bridge and picnic bench at Clark Island Park, 400 S. River St., according to police.

• A wallet was reported stolen Wednesday from a shopper's purse at Jewel-Osco, 119 S. Randall Road, police said.

St. Charles

• Angelika T. Macks, 61, of 840 Valley Lane, Geneva, was arrested Sunday and charged with retail theft. Police reports indicate Macks attempted to steal various produce, cheese and toothpaste with a total value of about $30 from Meijer.

• Terence John Tuite, 58, of 4S056 Rigi Road, Naperville, was arrested Dec. 26 and charged with retail theft after stealing a set of darts and accessories with a total value of about $54 from Meijer.

• An iPod was stolen from the center console of a vehicle parked on the 1700 block of Forrest Avenue in St. Charles Dec. 24, according to police.

• Megan Gabrielle Pope, 21, of 222 W. Main St., was arrested Dec. 22 for having an outstanding warrant from Kane County for failure to appear on ticket for driving with an expired license, driving with a license plate that belonged to another vehicle and driving with an expired license again, according to a police report.

Kane County

• Cynthia C. Fillmore, 42, of the 43W800 block of Plato Road, Elgin, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), speeding 78 mph in a 55 mph zone, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving while license suspended, police said.

• A 2007 Ford Explorer reported stolen in Elgin was found parked Sunday on Route 25 south of Gilbert Street, St. Charles Township, according to police.

• Two moisture meters valued at $290 were reported stolen Monday from a house under repair for flooding on the 0-100 block of Windwood Drive, Sugar Grove Township.

• A garage on the 40W800 block of Norris Road, Sugar Grove Township, was egged about midnight Wednesday.

• Tools valued at $5,940 were reported stolen Wednesday from a trailer on the 6N400 block of Riverside Drive, St. Charles Township.

• A black iPod valued at $260 was reported stolen Thursday from a residence on the 38W700 block of Bolcum Road, St. Charles Township.

• A white 2006 Chevrolet 2500 Express van containing plumbing equipment was reported stolen Thursday on the 39W200 block of Campton Hills Drive, Campton Township. The loss was estimated at $20,000.

• A vinyl fence at Mooseheart and Randall roads in Batavia Township was reported damaged Dec. 24 in a hit-and-run accident. Witnesses told police a silver sport utility vehicle possibly fleeing the scene of another accident drove through the fence, valued at $1,000.
