Obama's accomplishments will determine his legacy

As President-elect Barack Obama begins his term in office, I remember sports superstars like Jackie Robinson, Michael Jordan, Willie Mays and Tiger Woods. My memory also takes me back to the reaction of the many people who were very cool to them on their way to stardom. Our sports idols won admiration for their accomplishments.

So, too, we will admire the successes of our president.

As his presidency begins, remember "There is a destiny that makes us brothers, none goes his way alone, and all that we send into the lives of others, comes back into our own."
