'Freedom' guide is updated

BALTIMORE - A new edition of a map-guide to 41 places and programs related to the Underground Railroad in Maryland is now available in the state's 11 Welcome Centers.
The guide, "The Underground Railroad: MarylandSIMI VALLEY, Calif. - A copy of the Magna Carta is the centerpiece of a new exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley.
The exhibition runs Jan. 22 to June 20 and will include scenes from life in England in 1215, the year the Magna Carta was recorded.
The document, considered important because it guaranteed basic freedoms and rights, is owned by the Lincoln Cathedral in Lincolnshire, England.
