Wolves' Gherson stops 30 shots
Goaltender Robert Gherson had 30 saves in his fifth professional shutout, and four different players scored as the Chicago Wolves blanked the Houston Aeros 4-0 before a season-high 10,299 Saturday night at the Allstate Arena.
The Wolves are 13-0-1-0, the only AHL squad without a regulation loss.
"If it wasn't for Gherson tonight we might have been in big trouble," Wolves coach John Anderson said. "It's easy to get where we are now, but it's going to be hard to stay on top. If we want to be champions we have to play that way every night."
