Senators, sometimes rudeness works best

I opened my Daily Herald Aug. 12 and on the front page was an article titled "Heath care anger."

The two senators, Spector from Pennsylvania and McCaskill from Missouri, seemed a little indignant that people were irate and insulted that no respect was shown to them. My question to them is where have they been hiding?

Respect has to be earned. People have had it up to you know what with politicians. You just have to look at Illinois, Louisiana and New Jersey to see why. It's not just health care but a multitude of so many things. Perk-jammed pensions, phony trips, constant parties at taxpayer expense, having relatives on payrolls. The list goes on.

I see no change coming, and in October they'll come again with hat in hand touting change.

Sen. McCaskill said, "I don't understand this rudeness. I honestly don't get it." Where have you been hiding, senator? People should not be rude, however, maybe they feel that's the only way to get a point across so you realize we the people are fed up.
