Wheeling band program to perform holiday concert

Wheeling High School's band program will set a festive holiday mood for the community as it proudly presents its annual Holiday Extravaganza on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 10 and 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the school's Robert E. Sang Theater. The program will feature Wheeling's Wind Symphony, Symphony Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo, Jazz Band, and the highly acclaimed Marching Band, all under the direction of Brian Logan.

In addition to music of the season, humor, skits, short movie clips, and a special visit from a "big guy in a red suit" will add to the merriment. Wheeling High School is located at Hintz and Elmhurst Roads in Wheeling.

Tickets for this special concert are $7 and are available at the door, if not sold out. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Call (847) 718-7111 for more details or to order tickets.
