Physical therapy center debuts

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Progressive Physical Therapy recently opened at 657 E. Golf Road in Arlington Heights. The company brings a state of the art Balance Assessment and Treatment Program to area residents, according to the operators. The business is focused on preventing the kinds of injuries that often send people of all ages to nursing homes. The center has introduced Biodex Balance System, a large machine with a platform on which the patient stands. The platform can move, and a screen in front of the patient creates a visual image of how the users stand, how they distribute their weight and where their center of balance lies. The clinic specializes in the assessment and treatment of balance disorders.
