Brett Hull is leaving TV after a year to work full time for the Dallas Stars in their front office. The Stars announced Tuesday that Hull would be a special adviser to hockey operations. The 43-year-old, who helped lead Dallas to the Stanley Cup title in 1999, was a studio analyst on NBC last year while in a part-time role as special assistant to Stars president Jim Lites. "I have always wanted to help a team win the Stanley Cup from the business side of things," Hull said. "I am excited about this next challenge in my life and look forward to working with the entire hockey operations department on a deeper level."
