Get in on ground floor of new townhouse residences
Pre-construction sales are under way at Belden Place, a 90-unit townhouse community in Mundelein being developed by the Dearborn-Buckingham Group.
The neighborhood will feature 90 row-style townhouses with pre-construction base prices starting near $270,000. Three decorated and furnished models will open early next year, with the first units available for move in during summer 2008.
Belden Place is on 17 acres off Allanson Road in southeast Mundelein.
The homes will be row-style townhouses with finished lower levels and rear-loading two-car garages. Exteriors will have brick trim, covered front entryways, columns, arched window openings and gable end roof detailing.
Belden Place will offer three different floor plans sized from 1,800 to 2,000 square feet. Each layout includes two to four bedrooms, a convertible loft, 1½ to 3½ baths, a den, a combination living and dining room, a family room and a large kitchen with a breakfast area. Every home also will feature an owner's suite with walk-in closet and private full bath or private access to the hall bath and central air conditioning.
Options include adding a bedroom suite with full bath in the lower level, dual master suites upstairs or a super master suite. A whole-house audio system, fireplaces and skylights also can be added.
Each home includes 9-foot first floor ceilings, ceramic tile or oak hardwood floors in the entry foyer, classic white painted Colonial six-panel doors and trim with premium hardware, wall-to-wall carpeting and designer light fixtures.
The kitchens have custom-designed wood cabinetry and GE appliances. The baths include custom designed wood vanities, full-width vanity mirrors and plumbing fixtures by Kohler. The master bath includes a dual bowl vanity, walk-in shower with seat and separate soaking tub.
Community features will include a large lake winding along the main boulevard, park space with a tot lot, natural wetlands and gently curved streets that position each group of homes to provide views of open green space.
The neighborhood is served by Hawthorn Elementary and Middle Schools and Mundelein High School.
The sales center is at 724 Butterfield Road and is open from noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Tuesday; closed Wednesday and Thursday. Call (847) 881-2560 or visit dbghomes.com.
