Upgrades offered as sales incentive
To help celebrate Toll Brothers' 40th anniversary, The Crossings at Morton Grove, is a Chicago-style row house community, offers free upgrade packages to all buyers until Aug. 31.
"Incentive packages include our customers' favorite upgrades and have a value of $20,000," says Andy Stern, senior vice president.
The custom millwork package includes crown molding and hardwood floors in the living room and dining room, along with wood railings and oak stairs in the entry.
The kitchen elegance package includes stainless steel appliances and refrigerator, upgraded cabinets and granite counter, upgraded faucet, back splash and dishwasher and a custom lighting selection.
To transform a bathroom into a relaxing retreat, there is the luxurious bath package. Included are a whirlpool tub in the master bath along with heated floors, upgraded cabinets, granite counters and faucets, upgraded powder room fixtures and tile and a clear glass shower door.
The electrical package features four rooms of speakers, a speaker system for a home theater, a central vacuum system, a kitchen lighting package and upgraded security system.
The Crossings at Morton Grove, a community of 65 row houses designed to blend with the environment of Morton Grove. Classic three-story red brick masonry buildings are adorned with limestone accents. Each entry is surrounded by an arched brick structure. Many homes have bay windows and rooflines with gables.
"We designed open floor plans that are more spacious than traditional row homes," says Stern. Buyers have four floor plans to choose from ranging from 1,450 to 2,050 square feet, featuring two or three bedrooms, 2½ baths, and two-car garages. Some homes have the option of a third bedroom.
All homes are on three levels and include living room/dining room combinations, kitchens with breakfast areas having wood floors, family rooms at street level, oak wood railings, ceramic baths, soaking tub with separate shower in the master bath, master bedrooms with walk-in closets, two-car garages.
Other design features include a separate entrance for each home, 9-foot first-floor and second-floor ceilings, a fireplace, 42-inch wood cabinets in a wide variety of finishes, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, hardwood floors in the foyer, powder room and kitchen, sodded yards with irrigation systems, and basements. Specialized wall assemblies minimize sound transmission.
The Webster model is a two-bedroom 2½-bath, three-story row house with an open floor plan, priced from the low $400,000s.
On the first level, the foyer which opens to a family room which leads to the two-car garage. There are 9-foot ceilings throughout the first and second floors.
Level two, the living level, features a combination living room and dining room with bay-window. The kitchen features 42-inch wood cabinets with a center island topped in granite. Stainless steel appliances are included. In addition, there is a breakfast area that opens to the dining room.
The bedroom level on the third floor has a master suite which includes a walk-in closet and private master bath with dual vanities, a shower, and soaking tub. The has walk-in closet and private bath as well as a walk-out bay window. A full size washer and dryer and linen closet complete the second floor.
For a low maintenance lifestyle, The Crossings offers lawn and landscape care and snow removal provided by a homeowners association.
