Prohibition in Lake County focus of history symposium Saturday
The Lake County Forest Preserve District will host the fifth annual Lake County History Symposium on Saturday.
The event's theme is "Prohibition in Lake County." It will run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bess Bower Dunn Museum, 1899 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.
Presentations will include "Ballots, Babes and Beer" and "Al Capone in Waukegan." Registration costs $5 for anyone 12 to 17 or $10 for anyone 18 or older.
