Sigwalt supports Ritter for president
For the past 10 years, I have been both fortunate and honored to serve the voters of Carpentersville as one of your trustees. I've enjoyed the interaction I've had with our citizens and look forward to many more years of service to our community as a trustee and as a volunteer in various organizations.
The support and encouragement I've received from the public have been extremely gratifying, but obligations to my family must come first.
Therefore, I will be supporting Ed Ritter for village president and encourage my supporters to do the same. I know Ed will serve our village well and will bring respect and professionalism back to the office of president. I will also be supporting incumbent Trustee Kay Teeter, Carpentersville Improvement Committee Chair Pat Schultz, as well as Brad McFadden. These individuals have spent countless hours engaged in community service, showing their dedication to our village and our citizens; they have the experience, professionalism and concern to raise the village to the level of respect we deserve. All are willing to work diligently together for the benefit of Carpentersville.
Personal attacks by elected officials aimed at their fellows has been a shameful display from our boardroom far too often. We need leadership that is not self-serving or confrontational; it is my opinion that these candidates are sincerely interested in the betterment of our community and will be positive representatives for us.
I encourage all Carpentersville voters to get to know the candidates I've mentioned. Get involved! Help me help them help us. Let's get out the vote and get these people elected to serve us - we deserve no less!
