Cold doesn't refute global warming

Dismissing global warming based on our recent patch of arctic weather is like a cancer patient denying his cancer because he feels just great one day. The jet stream pushed cold air down from the north. That has nothing to do with the earth's overall climate change or health. I am also not surprised that 650 scientists question the severity or existence of global warming. Far more than that do believe it. Let's indeed have the debate, but let's not argue from authority without the facts, or broader picture.
