Donate supplies to Tanzanian school children

All kinds of school supplies -- paper, pencils, pens and books are needed in Tanzania.

The Missions Ministry Group of Barrington United Methodist Church recently learned through Peace Corps volunteer, Pete Wesley, that many Tanzanian school children have no paper and must share pencils. Therefore, the Missions Ministry Group is asking the community to bring school supplies of all types to the church.

Mannis "Pete" Wesley grew up in North Barrington and has been stationed in Tanzania with the Peace Corps for two years. He is the son of Pete and Rosalyn Wesley.

There is a special receptacle for donations in the narthex marked "Tanzania."
