Ex-pro cyclist coming to Highland Park

Robbie Ventura, who spent more than 12 years as a professional racer, will bring his Tour de France expertise and discuss racing and training with cycling fans on April 16 at his Trek Store in Highland Park.

Ventura will share his racing stories from 7-9 p.m. April 16 at his Trek Store at 1925 Skokie Valley in Highland Park.

Members of Active Transportation Alliance will be admitted free, and non-members can join at the door for $25. The store will also offer a live auction and a 20% off discount for store merchandise.

A VIP pre-event training session will be held from 6-7 p.m. with members seeking to spend time with Ventura. VIP tickets are available for $25 at activetrans.org/trekstore/vip.
