West Dundee doctor loses license
State regulators have suspended the medical license of a suburban doctor who was indicted for improperly selling prescription drugs.
The Department of Financial and Professional Regulation suspended the license of Dr. Irving Bush late Tuesday. The suspension follows an earlier indictment by the state attorney general.
Authorities say Bush sold painkillers and other drugs, including Viagra, to a patient who said he wanted to resell them. Bush allegedly sold the drugs in small amounts for $100 or less.
Bush did not return a phone message left at his West Dundee office. A friend who said he was asked to speak on the doctor's behalf says Bush plans to retire because of health issues.
