The Bridge Community Church is expanding
The Bridge Community Church has been located in Des Plaines since 1927. But over the last 10 years, the church has grown rapidly and became in need of more space. Rather than enlarging their existing facilities, or relocating and building new, they've elected to branch out into additional neighborhoods with a second location on Euclid Avenue in Prospect Heights, across from Randhurst Mall.
That building is now complete and The Bridge will be launching services at 302 E. Euclid, Prospect Heights, beginning Sunday, March 18.
Scott Ziegler, lead pastor of The Bridge, said, "We will be one church in two locations. Both churches will offer the same weekend services. Our music will be the same in both places. The sermon will be the same (live teaching) in both places. Our kids ministry will also be the same. It's truly just like adding two more services, but in a new neighborhood, closer to people who live in Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights and Wheeling."
The Bridge is a nondenominational church that focuses on teaching the Bible in a way that is understandable and practical for every day life. All are invited!
