Children invited to Kids’ Academy at Shepherd of the Prairie
Local children from kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to sign up and attend the creative Kids’ Academy enrichment classes at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley.

“The Kids’ Academy is bringing together adults in our church with talents and passions that they are passing on to the younger members,” said Amy Stech, Kids’ Academy coordinator. “We invite children from our community to join us, too. Some classes will have a small fee to offset the cost of supplies.”
Examples of upcoming creative classes include in March, a science class with three sessions as well as a paper beads class, a canvas painting class and a watercolor painting class.
