Attorney Brian Warens becomes shareholder at Lavelle Law

SCHAUMBURG - Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law said attorney Brian I. Warens has become a shareholder at the firm. Warens has been with Lavelle Law since 2013.

"We are pleased to acknowledge the significant and continued contributions Brian has made to our firm over the last decade," said managing partner Ted McGinn. "As a shareholder, Brian will take a more active role in helping us grow the firm and continue our mission of providing exceptional legal services."

Warens is active in the tax, estate planning, and probate and trust administration practice groups at Lavelle Law. A member of the dean's list at Loyola University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in psychology, Warens received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. At Chicago-Kent, Warens served as faculty fellow to Jonathan P. Decatorsmith before moving on to serve as interim director for the tax clinic at the Center for Economic Progress.

At Lavelle Law, Warens has worked with clients concentrating in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, special needs planning, estate and gift tax, guardianship, and probate.

"I believe that the devil is in the details," Warens said. "My experience has taught me that the best laid plans can be undone by the smallest unexamined component. My goal is to provide my clients with the knowledge, understanding, and comfort that their wishes will be carried out no matter what may come to pass."

Lavelle Law has 33 attorneys working from offices in Schaumburg and the Chicago Loop.
