Carol Stream Chamber Foundation opens scholarship application portal Feb. 1

The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Foundation board of directors recently announced that the application portal will open on Thursday, Feb. 1. It closes on Thursday, Feb. 29.

The board has been awarding scholarships to graduating seniors who reside in Carol Stream since 2014 and is proud to continue this tradition.

The foundation offers post-secondary scholarships to eligible Carol Stream residents who plan to attend an institution of higher learning: a four-year college or university, a two-year community college or a professional trade school.

The applicant must fully complete the scholarship application form and see that the form is fully executed.

The applicant may not be a child of a member of the foundation’s board of directors.

Interviews with prospective candidates will take place on March 21, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. in person in the first-floor board room at the Holiday Inn, 150 S. Gary Ave., Carol Stream.
