Waukegan lawyer honored

A Waukegan attorney has been named the recipient of this year's Freedom and Justice Award from the Lake County chapter of the NAACP.

Jed Stone of Stone and Associates, Ltd., was honored for his work toward “eradicating the injustices within our law enforcement and judicial environments,” according to a news release.

Stone, of Highland Park, is a fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers and is listed on the Bar Registry of Pre-eminent Lawyers.
