The skinny: After solid wins over Milwaukee and Loyola, the Blue Demons hope to head into Big East play on a three-game streak. Oliver Purnell's 400th win won't come easy as Mike Jarvis (yes, that Mike Jarvis) has the Owls on a 5-1 run that started with wins over Mississippi State and USF. Sophomore guards Greg Gantt (13.8 ppg) and Raymond Taylor (10.7 ppg) lead an FAU attack that plays up-tempo but doesn't turn over the ball often. That makes for an intriguing matchup with the Blue Demons, who wore down Milwaukee and Loyola with their game-long pressure. Freshman PG Brandon Young averages a team-high 14.4 points and 3.6 assists while shooting 54 percent from the field.
