Crawford to miss game vs. Celtics with sore back

ATLANTA — Hawks guard Jamal Crawford will miss Thursday night's game at Boston because of a sore back.

Crawford, the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year last season, ranks fourth on the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game.

Atlanta also will be without its leading scorer against the East-leading Celtics. Joe Johnson is still recovering from surgery on his right elbow.
