Burlington 5th at Flavin tourney

Burlington Central finishes fifth: The Rockets fell in their opening match of the Don Flavin 9th Annual Dual Team Tournament (Orange Division), 45-13 to the eventual champions Naperville North. Burlington Central got back on track in its second match as the Rockets defeated St. Viator 69-10, winning all but 2 of their bouts. In the fifth-place match, the Rockets took an early 24-0 lead and eventually defeated Stagg by a final score of 45-35. Johnny Major (140 pounds), Buddy Toth (152), Brent Sunderlage (189), and Jon Wright (112) each went a perfect 3-0 for the Rockets.
