Lake Co. agency offering holiday green guide

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County has compiled a holiday green guide offering a variety of ideas to celebrate the holidays in a more environmentally conscious fashion.

The guide offers fun and interesting suggestions for green gifts, cleaning recipes, eco-friendly decorating and entertaining ideas, information and resources and a list of the agency's programs and services, including electronic recycling events.

Through Jan. 31, the agency also will collect and recycle unwanted or broken holiday lights, and extension cords. Visit swalco.org.
