Village of Lombard Urges Residents To “Don't Trash Your Trees!”

The Village's “Don't Trash Your Trees!” program has encouraged residents for years to recycle their live Christmas trees and wreaths by disposing of them at the curbside on the regular refuse collection day. The items will be picked up by Waste Management for recycling at no additional charge.

Trees and wreaths should be free from all ornaments, tinsel and other decorations. Anyone with questions may contact the Lombard Public Works Department at (630) 620-5740 or Waste Management, Inc., at (800) 796-9696.
