Prince and the Carol Stream Chamber Foundation open scholarship portal Feb. 1

The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with Prince, recently announced that the scholarship application portal will open on Thursday, Feb. 1. It closes on Thursday, Feb. 29.

This scholarship is designated for an applicant who is planning future study in manufacturing or engineering.

Prince and the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Foundation have been awarding a scholarship since 2019.

The applicant must be a Carol Stream resident and plan to attend an institution of higher learning: a four-year college or university, a two-year community college, or a professional trade school in engineering or manufacturing.

Applicants cannot be a child of a member of the Carol Stream Chamber Foundation’s board of directors.

The applicant must fully complete the scholarship application form and see that the form is fully executed.

Interviews with prospective candidates will take place on March 21, between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. in person in the first-floor board room at the Holiday Inn, 150 S. Gary Ave., Carol Stream.
