Grayslake woman dies in crash

A 25-year-old Grayslake woman died after an early morning car crash Thursday in Waukegan, according to authorities.

Elisha Clark, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene about 3:30 a.m., said Lake County Coroner Richard Keller.

Authorities said the two-car collision occurred at the intersection of Belvidere and Green Bay roads about 2 a.m. Thursday.

Keller said emergency crews were forced to extricate Clark from the wrecked vehicle.

Information on the driver of the second vehicle was not immediately available Thursday night.
