City Reminds Residents of Street Closures in Effect for Hometown Holidays
Event Takes Place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 26
The City of Naperville reminds residents and interested parties of the upcoming street closures and parking restrictions that will be in effect for Hometown Holidays. The event begins with the Friends of Little Friends Electric Parade at 4:30 p.m.
The city encourages residents and visitors to pay attention to traffic control signage and watch for pedestrians while driving through downtown Naperville. Street closures and parking restrictions will be in effect beginning at 1 p.m. on November 26. The parade route will be opened immediately following the parade as deemed safe by the Naperville Police Department. All on-street parking access will be restored by 8 p.m. A color-coded map of the parade route, times and locations of street closures, parking restrictions and tow-away zones is available at www.naperville.il.us/hometownholidays.aspx. The map requires Adobe Acrobat reader to view.

In addition to the existing accessible parking located throughout downtown Naperville, additional accessible parking will be available for the event at the east end of the Nichols Library parking lot, located south of Jefferson Avenue between Main Street and Webster Street. The lot will be accessible off of Eagle Street. An accessible seating area will be available at the main stage for an individual and one guest.
