Barrington Taste fest a success

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and Barrington Bank & Trust, N.A., held its seventh annual “Barrington Taste Fest & Expo,” with the theme “Experience the Taste,” Thursday, Oct. 28, at Millrose Restaurant, Banquets and Country Store, 45 S. Barrington Road in South Barrington.

The fundraiser supports local business community initiatives.

The event drew a crowd of about 1,000 business leaders and area residents.

Participating restaurants included The Great Grapes; Romano's Macaroni Grill; The Onion Pub & Brewery; Millrose Restaurant, Banquets & Country Store; McGonigal's Pub; Park Avenue Wine Bar; Cook Street Coffee; Egg Harbor Cafe; Jerseys Pizza & Grill; The Lucky Monk; Apple Villa Famous Pancake House; Brunch Cafe; Tropical Smoothie; Millrose Country Store; Ruth's Chris Steak House; L'Eiffel Bistro & Creperie; Sweet Pea Cakes; On Occasion Catering & Fat Bottomed Girls; Francesca's Famiglia; and Armanetti of Fox River Grove.
