Route 83 snag in Long Grove

The northbound right lane of Route 83 at Robert Parker Coffin Road in Long Grove will be closed beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5 until 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8 to allow for the completion of pavement repairs over a sanitary force main under Route 83.

The left northbound lane of Route 83 will remain open throughout this closure but traffic delays can be expected and motorists are urged to avoid this area if possible.

Alternate north/south routes in this area would include Route 12 to the west and Route 21 to the east.
