Skinny: The Huskies repay UMES for visiting DeKalb just before Christmas last year. Through Monday's games, NIU senior swingman Xavier Silas ranks third nationally with 27.0 points per game. He also shares the national lead with his perfect free-throw shooting, though his 24 attempts are more than anyone else who's hitting 1.000 at the line. Silas made his final 14 free throws last year, so he heads into today's game with 38 straight. Tune in to the broadcast of this game, if for no other reason than to listen to NIU radio combo Bill Baker and Casey Kahler pronounce the name of UMES starting forward Freddy Obame Obame. He's the 24-year-old from Gabon who averages 8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
