Scouting: Loyola vs. Eastern Kentucky

Skinny: For the first time since 1981, Loyola hosts a regular-season tournament and opts to honor one of its all-time greats in the process. Indiana State and Texas-Pan American kick off the three-day Nick Kladis Classic at 5 p.m. before the Ramblers and the Colonels take over. Eastern Kentucky retains three starters from a 20-win team that played in the CBI, but the Colonels won't have preseason all-Ohio Valley pick Justin Stommes. The senior forward, who averaged 14.2 points and led EKU in assists last year, was suspended for violating team rules. Look for Ramblers coach Jim Whitesell to go to his bench early and often as he believes he has 13 scholarship guys who can play.
