Judson falls in CCAC tournament

The Judson University men's soccer team saw its bid for a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament championship and an automatic bid to NAIA nationals come to an end Wednesday with a 2-1 overtime loss to Illinois Tech.

Mike Tobie gave Judson the lead in the 49th minute but Illinois Tech came back to tie the game in the 78th minute and then win it in the 96th minute.

Judson goalie Alex Tyton had 7 saves in the game.

Judson (16-3-1), the defending National Christian College Athletic Association national champion, will return to action Nov. 19-20 when the Eagles host an NCCAA Regional.
