Quinn, Giannoulias counting on Obama
Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias isn't the only Illinois Democrat who needs help from President Barack Obama when he's back in town.
Gov. Pat Quinn is leaning on Obama, too.
Obama was scheduled to be in town Thursday evening to raise money for Giannoulias and national Democrats. He's helping Quinn too.
Quinn's campaign says Obama has recorded a new radio ad for Quinn that it will unveil over the weekend.
Spokeswoman Mica Matsoff says Obama tells voters that he's casting a ballot for Quinn in the Illinois governor's race.
Quinn will also get face time with the president when he greets Obama and the TV cameras at O'Hare International Airport.
