To Village President Elliott Hartstein
I read with interest your open letter to the residents of Buffalo Grove. I noted that not once did you mention the question of altered e-mails or deleted e-mails. Not once did you mention the incomplete findings on the Land of Lakes issue, an issue that concerns not only B.G. residents but residents in surrounding communities. Not once did you mention what the board did to escape in their attempt to find an outlet for the youth in our village by forming a dance club; instead the board punishes them.
What a way to retain local business.
Altered, deleted e-mails are not just wrong, but could be criminal.
The possibility of a contaminated site, so what, let us develop it anyway.
Despite what you say, this issue is still an open forum, as well it should be.
Instead you want order and discipline. We must have order; we must have order. You curtail the amount of time a citizen or trustee can speak but we must have order.
The issues that I have brought up are the real issues residents of B.G. should be concerned about. Lisa Stone raised those issues and it is for that reason that you want her recalled. I wonder why.
We must have order.
There was another government that demanded order some seventy years ago, and order they got. It has to start somewhere.
