Noble Fool's Masquerade to benefit theater academy

Noble Fool Theatricals has announced its inaugural fundraiser that will support the students in their Performing Arts Academy.

In addition, the organization recently announced that, on Jan. 1, Noble Fool will become Fox Valley Repertory, a name that represents the community, its mission, vision, patron base and academy students.

In celebration of the growth and success of the Performing Arts Academy, Noble Fool Theatricals invites all ages to dress up and attend the Masquerade Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in the New Orleans Ballroom at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles.

There will be dinner, music, entertainment, a raffle, silent auction and more. Ticket prices are $60 for adults and $30 for students ages 18 and younger. A special family price of $150 includes tickets for two adults and two students.

"For our inaugural fundraiser, we want to bring together patrons, parents and students to celebrate the growth of our organization and our commitment to the community. The event is a casual way for all our supporters to share an evening and create an experience with each other," said Development Manager Scott Piner.

"For the raffle and silent auction, items have been donated by Walt Disney World, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago White Sox, Second City and local organizations such as State Street Jewelers. And we're fortunate to have entertainment by comedian John DaCosse."

The NFT Performing Arts Academy is a nonprofit organization and features some of the Chicago area's most respected teachers, directors, actors and musicians. It is home to more than 1,000 local students and offers the most extensive curriculum in the Fox Valley area.

Ticket purchases and donations can be made at noblefool.org/masquerade or mail your check, made payable to Noble Fool Theatricals, to 4052 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, Oct. 8.
