Tough times need positive people

It's unfortunate, but I'm decidedly convinced the world will never be at peace. The world as in all the people who dwell on planet Earth, and the world as in Mother Nature that's adversely affected by these same people. All the technologies, delegations and prayers are pretty much putty compared to the end results and ultimately our futures.

Why so harsh, you ask? It is because spouses can argue and divorce and neighbors will disagree and sue and nations will clash over philosophies and even treaties, leading to wars. Politicians can bad-mouth each other during campaigns and commercials can distort the truth to financial gains and the arrogant proceed to lie, steal and cheat the vulnerable righteous.

You get the picture. It leads to a bleak tomorrow. It's the haves and the have-nots. Anyone caught in the middle is squeezed out. It's like in kindergarten, everyone is on a path full of dreams, but one by one they fall off the path developing prejudices, hates and bad habits.

I told you we're all doomed. Most of our dreams will be crushed. Most of our smiles will become frowns. Unless, we think positive, stare the truth in the eye and dare to change it! Think about it, change is eminent. Sometimes we need to step back, even reverse direction, to move forward.

Don't get me wrong. Many achievers are righteous, try their best and respect the Ten Commandments. Are you one of them? Do you have what it takes to be a leader, a hero? One who will sacrifice for the sake of others? Can you find and recall all that goodness that you possessed as a kindergartner? I think you can. But I don't know if you will.
