Musical show at Metropolis benefits Open Door Clinic
A major benefit for Open Door Clinic in Elgin and Aurora is being held Monday, Oct. 11, at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights.
“Cabaret For A Cause" will feature some of the area's best cabaret singers, including Lisa Rock, Amy Malouf, Holly Schroeder, Eamonn McDonagh, Jim DeSelm, Scott Emerick, Tiffany Gates, Karen Marie Richardson, John Michael Coppola (former star of Jersey Boys Chicago and Las Vegas) and Ross Boehringer.
The show also includes Justin Howard and brother Halye Dancer from Hunters Hunks, and on the piano Micky York. The show is directed by Lisa Rock and coproduced by Rick Kautz. Open Door Clinic provides medical care, case management, mental health and social programs to individuals and their families living with HIV/AIDS.
