Lake Co. men charged in separate child porn cases

Two Lake County men were arrested on child pornography charges this week as the result of separate investigations.

A Round Lake Beach man is charged with aggravated child pornography and a Lake Villa man is charged with possession of child pornography.

Daniel Alfredo Sanchez of Round Lake Beach was charged with child pornography and aggravated child pornography, officials said. Round Lake Beach police, Lake County sheriff's officers and investigators from Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office took Sanchez into custody Thursday morning.

Lake County sheriff's police charged Eric A. Pasko, of 300 Hampton Court in Lake Villa, with one count of possession of child pornography Wednesday after detectives were able to download pornographic images from the man's host site, officials said. Police found said they 14 images and two videos.

Pasko is being held on $10,000 bond. His next court date is Oct. 5. Sanchez's bail was not available.
