It's past time to retire, Mr. Favre

Sometimes pro athletes don't know when to retire. I believe this is the case with Brett Favre. His enormous ego has to be stroked by adoring fans and media even though he is past his prime and on the down slope of his career.

Now not only is he an embarrassment on the field, he is also embarrassing himself and the Vikings, with his off the field antics. He should have taken the Packers' generous offer to stay on as an ambassador for the team, instead of being an embarrassment to the NFL.
