1 dead after bike and vehicle collision in Chicago

CHICAGO -- Chicago police say a 69-year-old male bicyclist is dead after a collision with a vehicle on the city's North Side.

The crash happened around 9:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Chicago police spokesman Veejay Zala says the bicyclist rode through a stop sign and struck a vehicle. The man then fell from his bicycle onto the ground.
