Circus train comes to Des Plaines

The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus Train will roll through Des Plaines about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, city police announced this week.

The train will arrive at the spur line tracks on Howard Street, west of Wolf Road, with the animals walking from there to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont beginning at about 8 p.m.

The parade route will be east on Howard Street from Wolf Road to Lee Street, south on Lee to Touhy Avenue, east on Touhy to Chestnut Street, and south on Chestnut to the arena. The animals are tentatively expected to return to the tracks shortly after their last performance, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, police said.
