Palatine Concert Band to perform
The Palatine Concert Band will perform its fall concert 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Cutting Hall in Palatine, with Marc Stingley, a professional tenor, as the featured soloist.
Stingley has performed with opera companies throughout Europe and the United States.
His performance will include “Old American Songs” by Aaron Copland; and “Anthem from ‘Chess'” by Bjorn Ulvacus and Benny Andersson, while the program will also feature William Himes' “Ulterior Overture,” a published composition commissioned by and dedicated to the Palatine Concert Band.
The band is conducted by Ronald H. Polancich.
Tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for seniors and students.
