AC, ACC will play for 13th

Aurora Christian 56, Plainfield Central 31: Mackenzie Bollinger had 15 points and 9 rebounds in Aurora Christian's 56-31 win over Plainfield Central Wednesday at the Oswego East Winter Classic.

The Eagles (2-11) will play Aurora Central (8-7) in both teams' final game of the tournament at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner takes 13th place.

Yvette Lira added 9 points, Sarina Oleson had 8 points and 14 rebounds and Alyssa Andersen had 8 points and 6 steals.

On Tuesday, the Eagles lost to Metea Valley 41-26.

Aurora Central 35 Joliet Central 33: Jackie Cardona scored 10 points for the Eagles, who bounced back from a 48-45 loss to East Aurora the night before in a game Kaitlyn Rosa led them with 14 points.
