Cook County Sheriff investigating shots fired in area parking lot

Cook County Sheriff officers are investigating a shooting that took place at The Crave parking lot in the 1200 block of West Rand Road early Wednesday.

Liane Jackson of the Cook County Sheriff's Department said police responded to the parking lot of The Crave at 2:24 a.m. for a report that shots were fired.

She said no one was injured and no victims were identified in the shooting.

She said police did discover shell casings at the scene, but did not have any additional information.
